I feel like Will would have made a good truck driver. Yeah, he would have to limit himself to one dog, two at the most if one was tiny, but he wouldn't have to deal with people so much. His dad got him used to constantly moving anyway, no time for setting down roots, so it isn't a huge adjustment. Maybe after he failed to become a field agent, he dips. Someday, he wants to have a boat, maybe work at a couple of ship yards, but until then, he has his dog and his truck.

And well, it is easier to... indulge in a hobby or two.

Charlastor Week Day 2: Human AU

The shrill sound of the alarm clock filled the room for a second or two as Charlie rolled over to turn it off. With a stretch she threw her legs over the bed, pulled on her robe and slippers, then made her way to the living room. She flicked the radio on just as the grandfather clock in the hall called out that it was 8 o’clock.

“Good Mornin’ New Orleans and our listeners from nearby!” Alastor’s voice filled the room as Charlie turned the sound up and walked into the kitchen. “Now our long time listeners know what’s about to happen but some of you newer listeners might not know it is my anniversary with my charming belle today! As per tradition I’m dedicating this first song to you. Happy 3 years Charlie! I can’t wait to get home to you!”

Charlie stood against the counter her face red with blush as the song started to play. The phone in the hallway rung and Charlie dashed to answer. “Hello, this is Charlie.” She answered.

“Hello Charlie!” Alastors voice carried his smile through the phone. “I wanted to call and let you know what I have planned for the evening.”

“Hi Al! What are your plans?” Charlie leaned against the wall a soft smile on her face.

“After the Show I’ll go out hunting then when I get back I’ll fix your favorite meal and we can go out dancing as late as we wish.” Alastor pride in his plan was evident making Charlie giggle.

“Ooo jambalaya. I can’t wait Al.”

“I’ve got to go this song is almost over. See you later Darling!” Alastor’s voice moved from the phone to the radio as the song came to an end.

“Now let’s see what happened in the news while everyone was asleep. Police have not issued any further information on the person who went missing from south Mississippi just two days ago. This is the sixth person to go missing from the surrounding area since the start of the year. I personally advice everyone to stay aware of your surroundings and for the young ladies not to walk alone. And to the families of the missing persons I pray that soon you can find peace and answers regarding this.” Alastors voice faded out as a song began to play. Charlie hummed along as she prepared breakfast.

irrationally angry that someone described rumpleshitstain as a moral grey character he's not he murdered his wife for daring to leave him and loving another man and he's abusive towards belle and he lied and manipulated and abused regina and holy shit

he is not moral grey he is straight up evil 

maybe he's done moral grey things originally, back when he was still just a man or whatever (i'm thinking when he smashed his foot deliberately in order to be sent home because he wanted to protect his son but oops self-fulfilling prophecy)

and i don't care if he's your fave or whatever but don't woobify him oh my god. 

he's awful. if you like him own up to that.

i'm so tired and groggy now I'm trying to think of other moral grey characters and i am coming up with a blank wow frustrating. 

i'd consider stiles moral grey and that's what appeals to me the most about him and makes me so frustrated with fandom who wants to make him this knight of Goodness or whatever

much as i'm a huge fan of naomi, i wouldn't consider her moral grey either. what she's doing is straight up wrong, even though it comes from a complicated place of need, want, and anger (i do believe her anger is justified, though how she expresses that anger is out of line and awful because inhibition of agency is a big no from me but then I'm also frustrated that the narrative only validates certain forms of anger coming from certain people and villainizes other forms of anger when they really should be antagonistic whatever i'm too tired for this) so that's why i like her instead of rumpleshitstain who is basically the walking embodiment of entitled man-pain. 

i'd consider meg and ruby and even lilith moral grey definitely. cas sometimes. "i'm a little bit good, you're a little bit bad."

maybe i'm wrong though. maybe i'm overreacting. 

actually i'm probably overreacting because overprotective of moral grey characters the blog the life. i feel like i'm being really unreasonable and petty
