i'm shaving my head after raising $5000 usd for cancer research... any tips??? trying to find some head scarves bc i'm shaving it right before summer and i burn really easily

Firstly.. you are so awesome. Apart from anything else, that is a ridiculous amount of money. Congratulations! :D

I'm stupid and burn really easily too.. I had the unfortunate coincidence of being a pasty Scottish kid who was living near Atlanta, as well. I'm not going to lie..I did have a red head more than once. Not pretty. As to my advice for that.. hats are your best friends. I am currently very attached to a navy  bobble hat, but that's a bit harder somewhere hot.. honestly though, plain old sunblock will do. Just make sure you get the tops of your ears too. Head scarves can be cool, but they can also be a bit complicated, and it''s quite nice just to have a bare head. Actually, it's almost a good thing you're doing it before summer, because you're really going to be able to feel the difference.. it's so much easier to stay cool!

Anyway, you're very awesome for shaving your head. Good luck! I swear, it's the most liberating thing you'll ever do :D
