Today I uncovered some artiffacts from my past self and I think she’s trying to teach me a lesson for Earth Day. In college, I used to have a one-of-a-kind clothing line made from recycled materials. I felt so passionate about spreading this message of sustainability, right down to my tagging and merchandising. All of my tags were made with recycled materials, like party flyers that expired, or old beer cans for earring cards, or even fabric scraps for ties. Now that I dug this up, it’s reminding me of how resourceful I can be, and how important it was to use what I had on hand to create and stay true to my vision. During these times, that outlook is totally relevant as I’m finding myself making due with what I have, everything from the pantry to my closet, and not having the urge to consume anything new. I’ll admit that I lost that piece of me who was so bold in her stance, aligning my purpose with my creativity and being fearless in my approach to share it with the world. It’s funny because I technically still can use some of these cards because I have the same email and website, except now I gave it a little update, with lots more to come. Hope you can check it out: www.artiffact.com Tune in as I tune back into young Artiffact to see what other lessons I can resurrect, as well as pick up some findings along the way. #earthday #newmoon #recycledmaterials #sustainability #reflectiff #reduce #reuse #recycle #repurpose #resurrect #artiffact https://www.instagram.com/p/B_UGgdfDo2B/?igshid=jjhskxoybgr1
