Gary Sinise anon here: No worries! I had just hoped Seb wasn't doubting himself so much, but it's human nature to do so. I know I do it too (every day, multiple times a day if I'm being honest). It's weird seeing someone be open about it, I guess.
Lt. Dan and Stu Redman have a special place in my heart š
Yes, I mean I wouldnāt want to read too much into it, but it did seem quite āon the noseā to me. I know Sebās been a giant asshole of late (no point sugar-coating it) š¤¦š½āāļø but Iām also sure heās had some really shit feedback that probably gets to him. Not saying he should warrant sympathy, or that we should give it if this is him trying to garner it, but hating someone or constantly judging them also doesnāt do the soul much good either....I continue to be āmehā about this story of his. I doubt itās that deep.
I donāt know what else to say š¤·š½āāļø
P.S....I might rewatch Forrest Gump lol
Not my best...not my worst but it was for a gaming review I did on YouTube. My first collaboration. Iām so happy I managed to do it!
Synchronicity of our thoughts
After I write, I notice othersā reflected words. Those Iāve also used, thoughts unabused. our imagination and adventure drifting, Are we all on the same cosmic path?
Your dancing words whisper in my ear, Like butterflies that tickle without infamy. I catch a glimmer of your poetic sparks, Raw and unshaven words devoured maddingly.
As I seek serenity in knowing Iām not alone, I embrace your illuminated vessels of prose Each mesmerizing thought lingers like glitter As we heart and reblog each other, protecting our sanity.
Borrowed a word from each of youā¦..(I stopped at 22 blogs...so many more great minds) āItās a small worldā I always notice how we often write similar themed ideas, yet vastly differing in poetic meaning. @kyrah52 @tyronepowerchord @frofc @voidlightmoon @denmysterywoman @existential-celestial @merseawaves @robertjw4688 @randomlyjay @just-4-thought @cruxymox @lzlabs @takingstockofwhatmattersmost @mikefrawley @ellenya @aubriestar @definegodliness @untold-stories-here @tafkas77 @katrinnac @darkredrogue @thissometimepoet
Finally English voicing had been added to Reflection of Mine! All thanks goes to Victoria Wong - https://twitter.com/IceQueenVA If you don't want to start the game all over again - you can listen to the new voice acting on attached video.
I'm proud to announce that Reflection of Mine got Mac Os support from this moment! Still, because of Construct2 specific build shows one problem on some operating system - steam overlay doesn't work. Player can get all achievements, this is not a problem.
I work really hard to fix overlay issue, so stay tunned!
Fortnight of Games, Day 13
What game were you anticipating most this year? Did it live up to your expectations?
I'd been excited to play Reflection of Mine ever since I first saw a trailer for it years ago, so it was cool to finally get to play it this October. Unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to my own hype. The puzzles themselves were good and very challenging, but I wasn't impressed by the art, the story, or pretty much anything else about the game. The writing/translation was sub-par, and not only was it not very accurate to real dissociative identity disorder, I also felt like it had a harmful message regarding suicide. I would strongly advise against playing this for anyone who struggles with anything related to that. It deals with really heavy subject matter in an almost frivolous way, and I didn't appreciate that.
Fortnight of Games, Day 5
What game that you played this year had the best gameplay? What was your favorite level or thing to do in the game?
Well, I don't know if it was technically the "best," but the one that stands out as the most unique is Reflection of Mine, a horror puzzle game where you play as a girl with multiple personalities. You have to navigate through a series of mazes with various kinds of hazards, controlling two or even three different personalities at the same time, bringing all of them through the maze in one piece while using each personality's unique characteristics. It was really challenging and mind-bending, especially towards the end. I've played levels like this in other games, but I think this was the first time I've played a game completely dedicated to this kind of puzzle.
I think my favorite mechanic was the "pious" personality who would shoot flaming crosses at the demons to obliterate them. Very satisfying.
