Reflection on Desire

So after assignment 1, I’ve looked at, or tried to look at; in-depth, what desire is and how it affects us. After coming to a conclusion that it’s this uncontrollable thing that just cannot be defined, I decided to create an object that reflects the impossibility of managing desire. Utilising themes of self-wants and needs as a major catalyst for the final Desire art piece.
In the above and recent assignment research and development, I’ve realized that I needed to focus on a specific thing, and go really deep, for me to actually produce something meaningful to me.
That thought now drives my proposal for assignment 2.
Given how closely linked desire is to emotions, I want to explore what other emotions that is driven by desire, and vice versa.
