trial&error; Using found materials, ink, charcoal and water.
Influenced by the ‘perceived’ barriers around my home. Creating texture on the page by slicing through it. Charcoal on the page worked better than Indian ink, as the charcoal had a ‘tougher’ consistency that translated the ‘barrier’ theme. When the charcoaled page was wet it created a reflective surface that allowed me to capture the sky and and also self-portraits.
