Listen, if you are going to be a 1 product line, that product better be great. Like, leaves you a little breathless great. Like, accidentally squeeze out a bit too much and freak out because you don’t want to waste it great. Nancy Schnoll launched Reflekt with a single hero item and a direct-consumer model in order to keep her pricing accessible. Nancy’s skincare education came through years of curating beauty products for highly particular clientele - yet she never found that holy grail cleanser that worked for all skin types, revealed a glow, but also hydrated just enough. So partnered with a chemist and a leading perfumer to created the ultra easy, one step Hydrating Facial Cleansing Scrub.

And I want you all to know I knew NOTHING of this story when I tried the product. I just thought it was a product from a line … but I was like DAMN, this is the best cleanser I’ve put on my face in maybe ever.

Bear in mind I am an exfoliating gal. If you hate any kind of physical exfoliation I guess maybe this isn’t for you - but the exfoliating level is so gentle that even scaredy cats will come out soothed rather than abused. You can see in the pic how small the grains are. The smell is great - very subtle. But here’s the thing - the way your skin feels after is like WOAH. Clean and so so so smooth. But not smooth like … stripped, or smooth like … a cream cleanser leaving moisturizer on your skin. Just like your own naked skin [when you were a baby and by skin I mean ass] on a well balanced, healthy day … just smoother!

The price point is high but the experience is really truly worth it in my opinion. I’m gonna cry when this gift runs out because I know I have to buy it for myself - and I will.

I don’t know how she did it but I don’t care. I just hope she does it again with like … a serum? 2020 goals, Nancy.
