Many of us recording these days use a Reflexion filter. I always get comments on how I use a pop filter without a second stand, so I figured I would share. I use a typical Atlas stand, with the triangle base, with a short mic boom, as seen here. As the filter has its own mount, I’m free to use the boom just for the pop filter. An extra benefit is I can tape a lyric sheet to the boom (behind the mic) so there is no need for a music stand either. Win-win!
