Working on a "small" project
For those who don't know, I live on a mountain in the middle of nowhere on a patch of reforested land. As part of my family's contract for reforestation, we had to cater to "species of concern" most of these were bird species that are leaving Eastern Washington due to the clear cutting to create farm land or to stop different tree diseases.
I keep thinking that it would be fun to do a documentary about this environmental project. Half of the birds on the concern list are birds that I have never seen before. The bluejay being the main one we're trying to help out.
With new technology it would be easy to get the right kind of camera that can record these guys as they come back to the land that they used to be on. I just need to save up the money to get the camera...
