Back with some more Reform AU! Just some miscellaneous thoughts. Lilith is one of the few people who believe Lucifer when he says he didn't fuck Alastor. She wouldn't care if he did (they've been married for 10,000 years, they've done some experimenting) though she can also sense Cain's soul in the kid. While Lilith is plotting how to make Lucifer come to terms with his feelings for Alastor and get him to marry them, Alastor is so paranoid because the queen keeps staring at him and his baby, is she trying to kill them?! Speaking of, what should Cain's new name be? I highly doubt they would keep it as Cain considering the stigma surrounding the name, plus only God, Abel, Lucifer and Lilith know the baby is Cain reincarnated. (I had this funny thought of Lucifer holding Cain and asking things like "how did you do this?" and "what are you planning?". And Cain can't answer because a: he's a baby, and b: he holds no memories of his past life.) There's also the question of his lifespan. Would it be like Charlie where he only ages every 10 years? Or would it be different because of how he was conceived? Would he age like a normal human until he hits a certain age and then stops aging entirely? Would it be a mix of the two? I think we should bring back Adam as a sinner. Just to see his reaction. His eldest son, the one that invented fratricide, gets reincarnated as the child of the sinner he almost bisected and the wife stealer! (You know damn well he'd claim Alastor as his third wife). Then there's also the matter of Roo. How would she feel? Other than also claiming Alastor as a wife, that is. For the first few weeks, maybe even months, Niffty and Husk are the only ones allowed to be alone with the baby, even if it's only for a short while. Seems counterproductive, I know, but they're the only people Alastor really trusts right now. Niffty is surprisingly gentle with him and Husk lets him nap on his chest. Cherri would take pictures to send to Angel, but considering the threat of what would happen if the Vees, specifically Vox, found out, she's being respectful of Alastor's 'no photos' boundary. Vox will obviously find out, one way or another. And he's absolutely deluding himself into believing that baby is his. Yes, Velvette, he knows the kid is the spitting image of Lucifer, he's not blind! But look at the timeline! He may be bodyless but he can still do math! The baby was obviously conceived during Alastor's imprisonment, it has to be Vox's! (Wouldn't it be funny if we had the baby born like 9 1/2 months after the Might of Lilith incident? Like, Vox thinks it takes 10 months for a baby to form instead of 9 because "it's an even number, Velvette! It has to be even for the baby to develop evenly! God, you'd think a woman would know about her own biology!" he gets thrown in a dumpster.) Alastor is stressed out to unimaginable levels. It gets to the point that Cherri and Baxter are joining Husk and Niffty in trying to get him to take a nap, even if it's just for 5 minutes. He refuses. "The queen is trying to kill me and my baby! I can't even blink let alone nap! It's too vulnerable!" "She's not trying to kill you, Alastor, she's trying to fuck you!"

I figure, for Cain, as he is human and is the soul of a human reborn, he'll age like a human till adulthood, and then either just stay that way - OR.
He ages like a normal human. In 70-80 years (or maybe longer if we go by biblical ages) he does of old age. And goes to heaven, having lived a full, long, happy life.
And yes, poor Alastor is so panicked at Lilith staring at him, she's going to kill him and his baby! Lilith, meanwhile, who recognised Cain's soul and knows they didn't fuck, but would be down for it if they did (especially if she gets to watch!) is trying to figure out how to woo him.
