First of all, we'd like to thank our amazing players and interested potential applicants for sticking with us and being brilliant -- we truly appreciate it. We don't come to you with the best of news, however. Refragatio is something we put tremendous effort into making and are truly proud of but we find ourselves overwhelmed with the amount of work that needs doing and unable to keep up with everyone's requests. When you combine that with other projects, bumpy times in real life and tricky muses, our dedication has gone down significantly and we feel that it's for the best to place Refragatio on a one month hiatus, after which we will get back to you. We understand it's not the best but everyone is more than welcome to keep roleplaying and after the hiatus everyone who wants to keep their character is more than welcome to do so.

If you have any questions, you can send them and we will get back to you as soon as we can!

Hey everyone! 

First of all, we'd like to apologize for not being online and as active on the main as we should be -- it's been a busy week for all of us, but we promise, we're still here. Once again, we apologize for being sparse and we're not going anywhere.

Second, on Saturday we're doing an activity check. Remember, we do have a strike system for activity that would be good for everyone to look over. If you need a hiatus, a semi-hiatus, something, please let us know! We understand, we really do, so please just let us know. If you do not respond to us with a request for a hiatus, or increase your activity within the next few days before the activity check, you will receive a warning.

Before any of you get to far into our current character development challenge (which can be found here), I've decided to make a small thorough tutorial to show you what we are wanting you to screen cap just so it'll be a little easier on you all.

First off, when you finish your test don't stop there. Click the big red 'read type overview button' at the bottom underneath the initial results chart. (Don't worry, it doesn't cost a thing and it won't prompt you for an email!)

When you get to the next page, now is when you are going to want to zoom out to 90% (You can do this by clicking the settings bar at the top right of chrome, if you need help finding it feel free to ask.) It looks something like this:

The circled bit is what we are needing for the surprise.

And then screen shot either the full page like above or this little snip-it that you can see below:

That is found on the left side of the page under the big 'your results' title. The upload it to either a tumblr text post or an imagine hosting site for us and post underneath a 'read more'. I hope this clarifies a bit more and takes a lot of the extra work out of it!

This is an important Admin Note, so please read this!

Us Admins had been thinking, since we see so many wonderful paras on the dash, gif paras alike that are fairly lengthy, we thought it would be better to work on a time stamp sort of system as opposed to having each day be a new day. This way, events such as the recent attack, will be easier to fully para and explore your characters emotions without worrying about the para possibly going stale or that too much time will go by and you'll be too out of the loop. This will also allow us all to take the guessing out of what day it is, etc. Basically, how this will work is, we'll announce what the date is. For example, the current time stamp will be: June 22 to July 2, 1978. Everything that you write, etc. will go in between this timeframe until we announce a new time stamp. 

This will require you to date interactions or at least mark them with the time stamp in any way you need.

After a lot of deliberation we have decide that acceptances will be handled in two different ways, as to be fair to everyone. 

Applications for any character from batch one will be accepted on Saturday, September 20th at around midnight. We won't accept reservations, but we can delay acceptances up to 5 hours.

Applications for any character from batch two will be accepted on Monday, September 22nd. We will be taking reserves, in which case the reserved character will be accepted on Tuesday. 

After Wednesday, our acceptance schedule will go back to normal -- every Sunday and Wednesday at 22:00 GMT.

Hello, everyone! We're not due to release bios until Saturday but we would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions on Refragatio before then!

Tonight we will release a sample application and our very own playlist, followed by the release of two blogs: the graphics blog and the confessions blog. Keep an eye open because some character teasers will be released on the graphics blog once we get it up.

It's going to be legen—wait for it—dary. Legendary!
