A delicious and refreshing Hawaiian dish featuring fresh ahi tuna marinated in a savory soy-based sauce, served over sushi rice.
Ingredients: 1 lb fresh ahi tuna, cubed. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 1 tbsp sesame oil. 1 tbsp rice vinegar. 1 tsp grated fresh ginger. 1 tsp minced garlic. 1/4 cup chopped green onions. 1/4 cup chopped cilantro. 1 tbsp sesame seeds. 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes. 2 cups cooked sushi rice.
Instructions: In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic to make the marinade. Add tuna cubes to the marinade and toss gently to coat. Let marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. Before serving, add green onions, cilantro, sesame seeds, and red pepper flakes to the marinated tuna and mix well. Serve the ahi poke over cooked sushi rice. Enjoy!
