This is the plight of refugees in Syria and the buildings are in serious disrepair and there is a lack of proper living conditions for the people. Everyone should be entitled to safe and snaitary living conditions!

Question: Why should I lend a helping hand to these refugees when it has nothing to do with me?
Our reply: This issue seems far from home for us - so why bother right? Empathize. Refugees are humans too - just like us. This means that they too are entitled to human rights, which are inherent to all human beings. However, the issue is that these refugees are fleeing governments that are either unable or unwilling to protect their basic human rights.
Question: Such as what basic human rights?
Our reply: Like the right to security of a person, water, sanitation and food - all that we tend to take for granted. As a fellow human being, do you not think that we should help our own race, the human race?
