In 1961, the supercar, piloted by Mike Mercury and invented by Dr Horatio Beaker and Professor Rudolph Popkiss, went on many adventures. The trio were joined at their base in Black Rock, Nevada by young Jimmy Gibson and his pet monkey Mitch. The Supercar could work as a hovercraft, a plane, and a submarine. Using special cameras, it could even see through smog and smoke. ("Supercar" TV)
