My parents have an impressive VHS collection, and I thought I'd show how well-loved this movie was by my younger self. I'm pretty sure it's one of (if not THE) first movies for kids my parents bought.

Item: The Time Machine Rarity: ⏶ Common

What game do you associate most strongly with a specific time in your life?

Since it's a time machine, let's either have a nostalgia trip for my older followers or a history lesson for the younger ones!

The typical game consoles and such were too expensive when I was growing up, so I only got to play things like Tomb Raider and Super Smash Bros Melee when I was visiting friends or cousins. What my siblings and I did get to play are the more educational PC games and honestly they were pretty great. I'm not kidding that we would fight over these games.

Slam Dunk Typing - If I have kids, I'll find some way to get them to play this. You learn how to type properly and type fast while "playing" basketball. I owe my ~79 wpm speed to this game, though of course I kept it honed throughout the years by typing up fanfiction.

Math Blasters - Even though I never went into a mathematical field and totally struggled with Calculus and Statistics—I still enjoyed this game! It was a good blend of engaging math puzzles interspersed with different problem-solving portions. Just clicking through this playthrough is bringing back so many memories!

The Pink Panther: Hokus Pokus Pink - Not as strictly educational as the others, but it was a fun mystery game! This took us a LONG time to finish because some of the clues or progressions were really hard to figure out. I think we only ever truly played through it once because it was so difficult, since it wasn't like we could go use a search engine to help us when we were stuck. The ridiculous teeth decor will stick with me forever.

Arthur's Computer Adventures - So much fun! We played the diving game section over and over and over.

Reader Rabbit's Math - I either helped my younger siblings play or just played it for fun to take a break from the more difficult Math Blasters. I definitely remember finding the bug pizzas disgusting.

Treasure Mountain! and Treasure Cove! - I have such vague memories but the sound of collecting gems and the weird flips you can do as the main character have stuck with me.

The Land Before Time: Activity Center - Definitely spent hours playing these various games! The maze, flinging the characters over a river, coloring book, rolling the egg, and creating a story were my go-tos!

Geosafari - I remember loving this! My favorite was memorizing all the various flags of the world, though I can't find a playthrough of that quiz specifically. I also for some reason only remember that my sister's username was Carrottop, and not because she was a redhead. She just liked carrots. I'll have to see if she remembers what my name was.

Harry Potter: Philosopher's Stone and Chamber of Secrets- These came out late enough that eventually we played them on a ✨laptop.✨ These were definitely the games we replayed the most! Collecting beans/chocolate frogs, hiding from Crookshanks, flying on a broom, and casting Spongify were all so much fun! I want to find a way to play them again, though it would take some doing since laptops no longer have CD drives.
