I said off handedly once that I don't need Zayne lore and just knowing he was a combat medic is already enough for me because his second anecdote hit me hard.

I don't know, I don't have family in the army but I mean come on, he froze his own legs so he could stay standing and keep fighting. Think about that for a second. Think about what that feels like, physically and emotionally. Also he keeps a notebook under his pillow with a bunch of tally marks for every patient, every comrade he lost? That's fucking tragic. Does he still keep that notebook? How many tally marks does it have now? And going through a battlefield while being plagued by nightmares of everyone dying because you couldn't save them, because you didn't or couldn't do enough just, god, this man's been through a lot.

The Starry Nocturne memory story also hits different after reading his second anecdote.

Yo I just finished watching episode 123 of Black Clover (the end of the whole shabang with the elves) and—

For all the technology and magic in Teyvat someone should really introduce to them the concept of a damn tupperware.

You know doing good in school suddenly seems so worthless. It’s always soft skills this, communication that, and I graduated from a high school that prioritizes grades above all else and now I have to speed run college because I’m aiming for a transfer program and for what? According to most people you can do the bare minimum in your education and still live a fulfilling life so when did being good in school become so important?

As I stand right now, I have exactly 3 friends, no social presence online or irl, and increasing levels of apathy and social anxiety.  

The worst part? I don’t even know how or where to go to solve the problem. I don’t have many interests that can be translated into beneficial activities or even into specific organizations like sports clubs or art because I have a surface level of interest for most things so I can’t see myself committing all my time into one thing, the same goes with acquaintances. 

You know how people are sorted into friend groups? I’m never close enough with anyone to be considered part of their friend group. They’ll work with me and I’ll work with them and everything will work out but after the work is done they’ll go hang out with their friends with whom they share a specific interest while me and my friend group (which currently consist of two people) all prefer to just discord call because we live far away or just aren’t the type to go out on a friday night unless there’s a comic/anime convention.

OK rant over. This too shall eventually fall under the category of ‘best not to think about it and just try your best to get out of bed and go about your day’ but is that a red flag for avoiding your problems instead of acknowledging and dealing with your problems? Probably. Do tell me.

We were in a google meet and my teacher had me screen share from my phone. So everyone could see me scrolling through my tabs.

So I ended up accidentally showing them: 

- Mammon in his demon outfit bcs he was on my obey me homescreen

- that shirtless Beel I drew.

 I go to an all-girls, catholic school. Now everyone knows what a slut I am.

For the longest of time I've always been so convinced that Mammon is best boy but after reading the matchup @aria-chicken-flugget did for me I suddenly realized how attached I am to Satan (that shit awakened something in me I stg)

Now I'm conflicted because I've heard talk of individual routes :/
