my thoughts:
They play off that ‘two halves of the same whole’ kind of dynamic, but also kind of like dysfunctional, tragic soulmates
What makes me happy about them:
The amount of emotion that lies between them, and the way they could hold a silent understanding of what it is to literally see yourself through your lover’s eyes.
What makes me sad about them:
almost everything - when angst is the theme of the day, these two promise a potential boatload of feels EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
things done in fanfic that annoys me:

things I look for in fanfic:
angst with or without smut, AUs, humor, or fix-it fluff
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:
OT3 w/ Rin, or one of them with Rin, Gai, Yamato (Kakashi), Itachi (Kakashi)
My happily ever after for them:
A fix-it in which Obito is found alive and brought home to Konoha, where the Sannin are still together, so Tsunade is able to save him and heal most of his injuries. They grow up together and fall in love.
who is the big spoon/little spoon:
Obito is the big spoon, though sometimes there is no spoon and Kakashi just sleeps tucked in against his chest, legs all tangled together.
what is their favorite non-sexual activity:
reading Icha Icha and wasting time relaxing and taking naps on top of Hokage Rock.
