Min was finally glad for some time to herself as terrible as it sounded. She hadn't slept much the past few days, and she'd found herself getting a bit agitated because of it. She thought an hour or two away would do some good, and Katie always did seem to like Mason. Mason could do with the cheering up anyway, she decided. After leaving Katie with Mason, Min set out to Diagon Alley. It was a rather nice Sunday, even if it was a bit chilly, and while it was nice to be out, she found herself pretty lonely. She was lonely quite often, anymore, and couldn't help but feel in lesser spirits than usual. She stopped, looking at a display of books in Flourish and Blotts. It might not be a bad idea to pick up a few. She'd been doing a lot of reading.

Neville was looking forward to the end of the school year, almost more than he normally did.  He was looking forward to being home all of the time with Hannah, every once in a while coming back to look after the greenhouses.  He took a sip of his tea before sitting back down in his chair.  The photo from six years ago sitting on his desk, Hannah and Minni before Min's first year at Hogwarts, she was so little, so innocent, everything ahead of her.  He couldn't believe that in three months she was going to be a mother.  He missed her, the Minni that she was before her seventh year, the Minni that he was close to, the Minni that could come to him for anything.  He opened the top drawer of his desk to take out a piece of parchment to write her, wanting to see her, though their last couple meetings hadn't gone according to plan, when he stopped.  The little black box was sitting, neatly tucked away, in the corner of that drawer.  He had no doubt that the answer would be yes, but the timing just wasn't right.

Min's mouth set into a determined line as she shut her scrapbook and got to her feet, climbing out of her bed. Looking through her old pictures had done nothing to help the fact that she was really missing her best friend as of late. She knew that he had a lot going on, and she did as well, but that didn't mean they should practically be strangers. Seeing him during class wasn't really the same as hanging out with him outside of an academic setting. She regretted not being able to see him at the ball, him having left before she got the chance to see him. Pushing her feet into her simple slip-on shoes, she grabbed her grey sweater off the back of the chair, quite possibly a subconscious gesture considering who it had originally belonged to, and set off to find her best friend. She just hoped that he hadn't holed himself up with his girlfriend after classes. Then she wouldn't be able to find him at all.
