Happy Anniversary || Miam

Minerva's fingers smoothed down her skirt as she waited for Liam in the same room as before, watching the sky grow dark. As it was a Monday, Min had had to wait until evening to see Liam, and it had been something she could hardly handle, especially on their anniversary. She'd been growing anxious to see him despite the Hogsmeade weekend, and she was really hoping that he had had a good day. Rosalind was watching Katie for just a bit in case Liam wanted just a little bit of time alone with her, but she'd assured the professor that she wouldn't be with her long.

Min shifted the baby carrier to her other arm as she settled down in her seat in the room the Headmaster had told her she could meet with her husband in, grateful he had granted them a good chunk of the day to spend together. Katie was behaving smashingly too, which was a definite plus. Min managed not to look nearly as tired as she felt, a combination of excitement and her just doing her best to hide it. She really hoped she'd be able to see him again that next month for their proper anniversary, but she wasn't entirely sure considering she'd be able to see him at Hogsmeade. She was still on the fence about bringing Katie to Hogsmeade, not wanting the mass amounts of people to upset her.

Minerva Corner sighed out as she sat down heavily on her side of the bed. It seemed like the closer it got to her husband leaving her and their infant daughter on the train bound to Hogwarts, the faster the days had gone, and now their last night together was a reality rather than something distant and dreaded. She'd decided to go on to their room ahead of Liam so that if he wished he could spend some extra time alone with Katie. It had been really tough for the young woman to keep her emotions in check, but she knew that she had to stay strong. It was tough enough as it was, and any tears shed in front of him would only make it all so much harder. She reached out and smoothed down Liam's pillow, feeling a sudden wave of tears. Cursing quietly, she closed her eyes and squeezed them back, shaking her head just slightly. It was strange for her not going back to Hogwarts. It was stranger still not being with him. For only being with him almost a year, it had already felt like a decade. She picked up her pillow and put it in her lap for a moment, her fingers once again grazing the fabric of the pillowcase. Her eyes locked on Liam's trunk in the corner, all set for the trip to the train station the next day. She wasn't ready for him to go. She wasn't ever ready to let him go, to be honest.

Mason looked down at his watch again and peered up at the Gryffindor common room entrance, the Fat Lady staring back at him moodily. He was suppose to be meeting Minerva for rounds, but he was starting to think she wasn't going to be up for coming. He didn't exactly blame her, considering she was about as big as a baby whale, but he was annoyed enough by some other things to be frustrated that she hadn't owled him. Sighing, he turned from the entrance and started down the corridor, figuring he may as well do it by himself.

JEN. Totes for you. Don't care who!

Neville was looking forward to the end of the school year, almost more than he normally did.  He was looking forward to being home all of the time with Hannah, every once in a while coming back to look after the greenhouses.  He took a sip of his tea before sitting back down in his chair.  The photo from six years ago sitting on his desk, Hannah and Minni before Min's first year at Hogwarts, she was so little, so innocent, everything ahead of her.  He couldn't believe that in three months she was going to be a mother.  He missed her, the Minni that she was before her seventh year, the Minni that he was close to, the Minni that could come to him for anything.  He opened the top drawer of his desk to take out a piece of parchment to write her, wanting to see her, though their last couple meetings hadn't gone according to plan, when he stopped.  The little black box was sitting, neatly tucked away, in the corner of that drawer.  He had no doubt that the answer would be yes, but the timing just wasn't right.

Miam is Perfect~

Min closed her Charms book with a sigh and pushed it away from her with her foot as she looked up at her clock. She figured Liam would be there shortly for bedtime. Min didn't feel up for taking the stairs down to Slytherin, and Mason had excused for from Prefect duties for the evening. She'd done about as much revising as she could for Charms, and really just in general. She knew that if she did much more studying she was only going to psych herself out. She had other things to worry about anyway, and she really didn't want to stress herself out to the point where it put Katie in danger again. Matters with her father weren't exactly helping, but she knew they could be easily remedied if she just let go of her grudge. She couldn't help but worry about Liam, as per usual. Sure, she'd seen him a lot over the last few days, which was definitely a plus for her. She just wised that she could be more help to him. Still, she knew that no one could really help the fact that Ian was an asshat. She also knew Liam would have to face him sooner or later, but she'd never tried to push him to speak with his older brother. She knew he would when he was ready...or if Ian caught up to him. She really hoped that it would be the former rather than the latter, but she also knew how Ian could be sometimes. It wasn't like the guy liked being ignored, that much was obvious.

Forever || Miam

The irony of the day wasn't lost in Minerva, and it certainly didn't make her any happier about the situation they were in. Staring with hatred at a bouquet of roses on one of her roommate's desks, she slid out of her bed, trying to ignore the cheery daises on her own desk, a present from Jason, as per every Valentine's day, despite the fact she hated the holiday. She dressed for the day, not knowing where to find Liam, but knowing she was going to search everywhere until she found him. She needed to prove to him that her feelings hadn't changed for him, that he was important to her. Grabbing the jumper off her bed, she pulled it on and fastened it up, shoving her hands into the pockets as she departed her room to find him.

Min hadn't been around the castle much since Hollow's suspension, only going to classes and occasionally down to eat during meals, as well as her prefect duties. She didn't go anywhere near Hollow's classroom, instead skipping out of the study sessions entirely. She couldn't stand being anywhere that he was usually at and having him not be there. She had seen Reggie since Jason left, but she hadn't really seen much of Liam. It wasn't like she didn't want to see him, but she knew there really wasn't anything that Liam could do for her, besides say he was sorry, and she really didn't want to see the sympathy in his eyes. The rumours, the ones she heard anyway, were getting dumber by the day, more absurd with every go. She kept waiting for her father to owl her, to reach out to her in hopes she would talk to him, but she assumed that he was too busy appeasing her mother and doing professorly things. Fidgetting with her ring, she walked along the rows in the library, hoping to grab her book and quickly go.
