This Virtual Season begins where season 2 episode 2 left off. Above is a refresher on what had just happened...
Are you sitting comfortably? Then we shall begin.
His hand clamped around her throat. Kara barely got a gasp out before her airway was closed off and she was airborne, the man she’d been consoling turning on her with a speed to nearly rival her own. The medical bay whipped by as he flung her over him and through a pane of glass, shattering it into a million pieces.
Stunned, Kara picked herself up as the alarms began to shriek, shards of glass sliding off her suit and cape as she got her feet under her. Their newest guest at Hotel DEO was proving an ungrateful one, and worse, had already made a break for it before they knew who he was or what he could do.
“So much for being nice,” Kara grumbled, using a burst of superspeed to propel herself out of the medical bay.
Their patient was bare-chested and sweating, tossing agents left and right. His movements were jerky but dangerous as he awakened to a new reality of having superpowers. Kara took a step toward him only to see Alex chasing him with a huge gun. Her sister drew up, shouting out a warning as he ran toward the launch pad doors. They parted welcomingly as he tripped the proximity sensors.
Alex fired, a wide streak of red light fanning out from the muzzle of the gun, striking him as he began his leap to freedom. He faltered, tumbling back to the ground, and Kara shook off the last of her shock to stop him.

Let’s call this a ‘sneak peek’ into my next big project. *wink*
Cooking together gone horribly wrong
“Ouch, Shoot!” Kara leapt away from her cutting board and turned to the sink where she ran her sliced finger under cool water. From across the kitchen, Alex pulled her risotto from the stove and raced to Kara’s station to ditch the cutting board and tainted food in the garbage and bleach the countertop. “Dangit,” Kara muttered as she wrapped her finger in paper towels and made her way to the first aid kit.
Leaning against the kit mounted to the kitchen wall was Cat Grant, in full chef whites with her arms crossed. Kara stopped short. “Chef Grant, what are you doing here?”

Supercat. Country club swim coach
“How did that feel?” Kara asks, illuminated by the midday sun at her back, freckles perfectly aligned over her nose. Her dark blonde hair is dripping wet as they bob in the shallow end of National City’s most exclusive swimming pool, the centrepiece of the spa center at the Bleupersuchs Country Club.
“Well, you were a little vague, but I think I overcame the poor instruction.” Cat stands with her feet on the floor of the pool, letting her bikini-clad torso break above the water. Black had been the least daring choice in the end, but the sight has apparently rendered her swimming instructor dumb again. “I’ll just get out of the pool now,” she adds, and Kara nods vaguely. Cat feels those blue eyes on her with each lingering step up the ladder.
“Kitty?” Damn. Lois is in town after all. “I haven’t seen you out in midday sun for decades.”
“They invented sunscreen, Lois. Now, some of us have places to be.”
“Hey Kara!” Lois calls out. “Does Cat have you working on Carter?”
“Carter?” Kara swims to the side in a few even strokes, and Cat feels her stomach sink. “Oh no, I’ve been helping Miss Grant her with her phobia.”
“Her phobia?” Lois repeats.
“Of water,” Kara supplies, and Cat groans inwardly. She’s busted. And Lois is going to enjoy every moment.
“Huh,” Lois begins. “You know, I must have missed that when she was swimming for Vassar. Really brave of you to try out for the Olympic team, Kitty. You know, with that crippling fear of yours.”
“Miss Grant?” Kara hoists herself out of the pool, splashing all over the tiled floor. “Is that true? Why did you ask for private lessons if you’re such a good swimmer?”
“Why do you think?” Cat goes with brazen. She can’t lose face in front of Lois now. “Would you rather I just propositioned you like every other rich sleaze in this place?”
Kara looks at her, considering. “It’s different.”
“How?” Cat demands.
“If you asked, I would have said yes.” As she saunters away in her white one-piece with the dangerously low-cut back, Kara is a vision.
“You’ve got it bad,” Lois teases. “Go get her, for God’s sake. How much more of an invitation do you need?”

Okay but did Kara gently lift Cat up there??
With some real gentle hands on her ass? Sure.

Swing and a Miss
“Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.” Each word was punctuated by a blow to the cement pillar. The concrete crumbled under iron fists and Vasquez could see tears of frustration shining on Kara’s flushed cheeks.
Vasquez sent a silent prayer to whatever deity governed her ability to stay alive thus far that the pillar she was pulverizing wasn’t load bearing and that the ceiling wouldn’t tumble down on her head before she could get Kara to stop.
“Supergirl.” Susan didn’t step too close, fearing she would be caught at the end of one of those angry fists.
“Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.” More tears. More crumbling concrete.
“Supergirl!” She exclaimed a bit louder this time. She knew Kara’s hearing picked up her voice. She was actively ignoring her.
“Stupid. Stupid.”
“Supergirl, stop!” This time she did move to stand at Kara’s side, ready to reach for Kara if necessary.
But before she could duck out of the way, one of those tiny steel fists was flying towards her face. She braced for impact and squeezed her eyes shut.
