We lost one of the greatest #conservationists of our time. I had the opportunity to visit Pat Jones 3 times at her farm. We shared the same disdain for Russian Olive trees & Autumn Olives trees. #invasivespecies I remember her telling me “the grouse ate just fine before they planted these blasted things, doesn’t make any sense why they got put in. And they’ll eat just fine if we get rid of em. Go ahead Kyle, you can rip that one out.” She was a firecracker, and stood for what’s right. The Katy Trail <—-Awesome The confluence state park <—-awesome Her tellin Shane Shidler To gas it on her gator cause he was driving too slow and me telling him to conversely slow down.... never have I been so nervous. Planting trees with #region220 on the Jones Farm. She taught everyone that it matters more what you DO vs how you look or what you own. Thank you for sharing your love of nature with everyone and your massive contributions to conservation.
