Registration Day was Today.

I made a Plan in the system to automatically register for all my planned classes. Only one went through.

Problem 1: I am a transfer, so the classes I'm taking are wack. The stats class I wanted was mostly full. This was fixed by reluctantly registering for the night section of that class.

Problem 2: I am a transfer, so the official transcript I sent over when applying did not include my grades from last semester. So I am "missing" the prerequisite for one of the classes (despite being in a class right now with the same "missing" prerequisite). I had to email the professor for an override. I will talk to him as he is teaching a class I'm taking now.

Problem 3: I am a transfer, so the section of Sophomore Clinic that I'm in is the independent study version, which does not count as a prerequisite for the second half of sophomore clinic. There are 2 seats left in the section I really want. I'm waiting to hear back from the professor. Might try and visit her office today.

Overall Problem: I am a transfer student and am chronically fucked.

When you sign up for:

Intro to Korean Studies- but you already finished that minor

Korean 1- when you’re suppose to be in Korean 3 (well maybe higher than level 3 at Yonsei since their textbook version seems to be not as advance as SNU Korean that I’ve already studied).

The only useful course I signed up for is Cultural Anthropology because I’ll be killing two birds with one stone. I only need 2 credits to finish up my diversity minor and will only have my anthropology minor left to finish up so I will be getting credit for both minors with this course. This mean I will only have to worry about my anthropology minor after this semester.

Sigh still debating whether I should take Korean 1 as a filler class or switch to Health & Wellness instead..
