Sticky Sweet Spicy Baked Korean Chicken Wings. I promise you will not know that these aren’t deep fried. Yes I know you’ve heard that before (hello soggy “oven-fried” chicken 👋🏻)... but this time it’s really true. Toss your wings in a light coating of cornstarch that has a good pinch of salt and a good pinch of baking powder in it. Shake off any excess and put your wings on a rack, on a baking sheet and spray lightly with oil. Bake at 425 for about half an hour, turn over, spray again, and bake for another 20 mins or so until browned. Toss with the sauce below... Recipe-ish: In a small saucepan combine: 2 tablespoons soy sauce ¼ cup honey 2 tablespoons rice vinegar 2 cloves minced garlic 1-2 Tbsp minced ginger 2 Tbsp sugar 1 Tbsp ketchup 2 tsp Korean chili flakes 1-2 Tbsp chili garlic paste Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for a few minutes until the sugar is dissolved. Toss with wings. . . . . . . #quarantinecuisines #followfood #yyceatscalgary #regramCCBY #mealideas #storyofmytable #foodideas #foodblogs #bhgfood #rslove #chefmode #gatheredstyle #todayfood #foodie_features #thisissummer #eeeeeats #instafood #foodie #food #instagood #foodblogfeed #recipe #foodgasm #yum #heresmyfood #cookinglove #cookinggram #cookingathome #cookinglife #foodgoals (at Calgary, Alberta) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_5UECTl0Fh/?igshid=s9g04hzeon8u
