It's soooo fun. Meursault being connected to Forsaken Murderer like this is so fun, I need to know his Resource Cost so bad.

As for Faust... I really don't think it's the same as Yuri Faust! It's actually pretty clear to me they're not the same Faust.

We know that Yuri, and by extention Yuri Faust, are from a side branch of L Corp. That's how they were able to survive the White Nights and Dark Days, since if they were at the Main Branch they would have been yoinked into the Library alongside all the other employees there.

Regret Faust on the other hand gives some Very clear hints that she's in the Main Branch - she mentions Ordeals and the 50 Days Time Limit, something that was only a concern for the Main Branch. Plus, y'know, Forsaken Murderer only existed in that Main Branch.

And, actually that makes me wonder... As far as we know, there were only three people in L Corp who knew about the 50 Day Time Loop - Angela, Hokma, and Binah. Not even the other Sephirot knew about it, let alone the employees. Which begs the question... Why does Faust, a normal ass employee, know about it? Very curious...
