waking up next to regulus black. his curls have fallen over his eyes and tickle his face, causing him to scrunch his nose in his sleep and huff gently. he looks relaxed, for once, typically furrowed eyebrows and taut jaw replaced with a look of pure peace. it makes you smile, his look of innocence, of tranquility. as you trace your fingers along his chest, he stirs with a groan, forcing his eyes open to look down at your beaming face. his morning voice is groggy, thick with sleep. “morning, darling,” he hums, pressing a kiss to the crown of your head. regulus is always softer in the mornings, bubble of safety not yet being broken by outside forces.
