4) do they have a favorite movie?

movies are not particularly a big part of molly’s life, but she would be easily charmed by anything her muggleborn friends showed her. i do think she would prefer dramas, musicals and animations more than all else, especially the sound of music and casablanca. 

12) biggest flaw?

i do believe molly’s biggest flaw is how often she tends to keep things to herself. it is not that she is not trusting or that she has trouble speaking up her mind, quite the opposite. however, she does always attempt to keep the peace -- and that often involves keeping her feelings and thoughts to herself. especially now, with her friends and family constantly putting themselves in danger ( and with her mixed feelings concerned the order’s part on gideon’s death ). therefore, instead of letting it out and admitting to what is bothering her, molly is quiet and allows her resentment and anger to grow inside of her -- which leads to sudden outbursts that sometimes hurt those who have nothing to do with her problem. this flaw is something that has always been present in her life, but it is only growing worse.

33) who is their ride or die friend?

that would definitely be frank longbottom!! the two of them have been part of each other’s lives for a truly long time -- especially in their hogwarts years. they are both the same age and they were both gryffindors, so they were venturing through the great hall and potions class together. not to mention, even though the pair completely loathes talking about it, frank was molly’s first kiss. it was slightly disgusting, to put it nicely, but it did show the pair that they were stronger than that ( and much more like siblings than anything else ). until this day, molly and frank are really tight, despite leading completely different lives -- yet, they always make time for each other. frank was one of the few people invited to molly and arthur’s wedding and he is one of the only people molly trusts to lean on -- at times, even more so than arthur ( though she would never admit that ).

1. go to karaoke song?

Arthur’s musical talent is practically nonexistent, so any chance of him performing in front of a crowd means two things: one, he’s with people he’s quite comfortable with; two, he’s probably had a bottle of firewhiskey. That being said he usually’ll sing whatever godawful songs he and his brothers listened to while at Hogwarts ( because, of course, they’d probably be up on stage with him ). Probably something by the wizarding band Aloharmonics, or a classic ballad.

2. a song that describes them?

Can’t think of a song, so maybe a poem will do? Heart’s Needle by W. D. Snodgrass has always struck me as a bit of an Arthur-ish poem, raising a family in the midst of war and pain.

30. are they religious or spiritual?

Religion isn’t very prevalent in the wizarding community, but Arthur’s got some thoughts and beliefs about life purpose and where we go after we die and why we came into being in the first place. First and foremost, he’s not very Darwinian in his social beliefs: in his estimation, humans ( magical or not ) are intrinsically different from animals because they hold inborn value and carry innate human rights. Where these value and rights come from is a little more hazy in his mind. He thinks there’s something more to this life than just face value and that death is not simply the end, but the specifics are something he hasn’t pinned down just yet.

8) are they close to their family?

definitely not. rita is the fruit of a scandalous affair between her mother and her uncle – the man who married her aunt. her aunt, luciana, knows about the affair and, because she is incapable of having children, accepts rita using the skeeter last name and waltzing around as if she is their legitimate daughter. truthfully, it is better for her aunt to simply accept a bastard child than to let the wizarding world know that she has been cheated on with a muggle. that is not to say that her father and aunt are good towards her -- quite the opposite actually. her aunt has only talked to her once, in a somewhat threatening letter that arrived shortly after rita’s hogwarts letter. as for her father? rita has yet to speak with him. though she does take pleasure in knowing that he sees her name in the daily prophet every time he opens it -- a reminder that she exists and she is thriving without his support. her mother, however, is a completely different story. 

dolores did her best to be a loving mother -- she did. but when it came to the wizarding world and rita’s father, the two of them disagreed deeply. rita wanted to go and be a witch -- be the greatest witch. she wanted to get to know her father, or at least contact him so he would be aware she was just like him. her mother? well, dolores was very much more entertained by the idea of keeping her daughter to herself -- in the muggle world. when rita left for hogwarts, that was when the distance between them began to grew. that, combined with the fact rita tried to hide the fact she was a halfblood and her change of name? it was enough damage to last a lifetime -- not that her mother’s life was particularly long. a few months after rita skeeter’s first column was published in the daily prophet, dolores valdez came to pass away. the only thing rita has left of her is the pearl necklace she often wears around her neck. well, that and the complete and utter regret of being such a horrible daughter.

14) greatest fear(s)?

to put it simply? oblivion. but it is a lot more than that. it is not just that rita is afraid of being forgotten – it is more about the fact that she is terrified of being no one. she is no one as of right now, stuck between two worlds ( both of which do not want her ). as i mentioned, her mother has died and, before that, they had a pretty unstable relationship. as for her father, he has not said a word to rita in these almost twenty-six years of life. the last thing rita wants is to keep on being no one. she does not want to prove her father right about her not being important enough for him to meet. she does not want to prove her mother right that does not belong with the wizards. rita is scared of being nothing and nobody -- as she has been her entire life.

31) are they a morning person or night person?

definitely a night person. it is when rita does some of her best work -- writing, investigating, flirting. but the life she leads often calls for her to be a morning person and she is truly trying to adjust, yet there is something about the way the stars and moonlight call to her that she cannot ignore.

1. Go-to karaoke song?

Modern Glittery would absolutely kill it to Mariah Carey’s greatest hits. And by kill it we mean sing very badly and drive everyone out of the karaoke bar. But hey — at least he’s got spirit!

5. Three things in their fridge?

An occamy egg he’s definitely not supposed to have. He for sure bought it on whatever the Wizarding World version of the black market is ( Mundungus Fletcher, anyone? ) and uses them in his hand-brewed shampoo recipe. In addition, he always has a bottle of sherry chilling just in case any unexpected guests drop by, as well as an impressive haul of candies and desserts — image conscious tendencies aside, he’s always had a bit of a sweet tooth and is prone to stress-eating late at night! Bitch me too tf

Narcissa’s jaw tightened before she answered. How many times did she have to explain herself to him her plan to save her sister.  ‘ You know very well I would never put my own family in real danger. ‘ Oh, ’  she said with a little hint of surprise in her tone. Narcissa could sense the distance in his voice, a hesitancy that wasn’t there before. Things had become so quiet between them as of late that she was starting to get worried. Considering his feelings she didn’t want to press too hard, asking him where exactly he has to go on such short notice.  ‘ Alright. I’ll see you tomorrow then. Don’t forget, we’re meeting in Andromeda’s drawing room in the morning for breakfast, so be on time. She’s nervous about the wedding already, I don’t want her to worry about where her favorite cousin is. ’
