Todays just been something else.” Not often did she call someone when her day at work was bad, but if anyone it was them. “I just need to drink this wine and cuddle, okay?” Because that’s truly just what she needed. Just cuddles and wine.

                        “Listen, I know this might look suspicious,” Amari had multiple kittens stuffed into the various pockets of his coat, but it was only because he had to take to the clinic and he didn’t have a carrier with him on his way to work. Sometimes you just had to rescue abandoned kittens and the only thing you had on you was your own clothing. He’d only stopped at the nearby pet store to get some food to sate the kittens until he got to work. “These kittens...aren’t from here. I found them a couple blocks from my apartment. I promise I’m not stealing them.”
