okay i made a really long winding piece of writing that started being a little way to get out my feelings but then it changed?? like it's not even about me anymore lol. i'm gonna release it in parts (one a day) cause it's long

you know, i think love is a tree, or maybe a vine, right? it’s life, you know? 

and you gotta water it, of course, with your hugs and kisses and i love you’s, you have to keep it alive. you don’t want it to die. 

and you’ve gotta give it sun too, can’t keep it all to yourself, or it’s gonna die, you know. let it have its friends and its time. 

so—you with me so far? yeah? cool, cool—so you know, love’s a tree, or a vine, a plant of some sort. but the problem is sometimes, a tree, a plant, whatever, its roots get strong, yeah? 

and you know, that’s usually a good thing. plants die without their roots—unless they’re like those water or air or something or other plants, i dunno—of course. 

but sometimes—you ever been to the South? we got kudzu like flu season, except it’s all year round, right? anyways, sometimes you got your love, and it’s a tree or a bush, and you get beautiful flowers and fruits and safety, you know, that’s when you know you’ve got it, got your love. 

yeah, you got your love, but sometimes, sometimes you get a kudzu vine. sometimes it sucks the life out of you.
