Sherlock's death

I've been thinking about about the Fall and one thing seems to hit me us that there is no death dates on the tomb, it just says Sherlock Holmes. IDK if this was for continuity reasons or period watching it in the future but there was a lack. Wasn't it fairly obvious he wasn't really dead.

My friend's and I have decided that Irene is really Moriarty. Irene paid the actor to play Moriarty. There was an extra sniper and Irene told Moriarty if he didn't get Sherlock to jump and if he didn't kill himself she'd kill him, The reason Irene did all  this was to get Sherlock away from John.
