Petya's just a guy, and one of Kaspari's most devoted supporters. He kinda has to be, because he basically runs his entire estate while Kaspari lounges around most days.

Marin would be closer to a butch/masc woman, but she's not quite a lesbian because she's not romantically involved at all. My other story has more of a political theme and the main character is a butch woman and one of my faves

Is there like a Reign of Error elevator pitch that I could like hold in my mind as I catch up on the art and lore bits?

in short, Seva, an assistant, down on her luck and convinced her moral compass leads her to misfortune, attempts to make herself indispensable to a seemingly naive new senator who's terrified of making unpopular decisions and welcomes Seva's stability. they become entangled. Seva, who only wanted control, is seduced by the prospect of political power, of making the senator her project. And the senator, who once figured she could use Seva, finds herself entrenched in the helplessness she once only played at. Basically, very high stakes manipulation, interdependence and loss of identity.
