Her head was thumping, a strong indicator of a good night but also of a day nursing an awful hangover. Slowly she opened her eyes, but almost immediately wanted to close them again. Charlotte was a complete mess but at least she was fully clothed. She shifted her position so that she was sat up in the bed and looked beside her, where a rather prone Samoan was fast asleep. It didn’t frighten or bother her, she was certain nothing like that had gone down. Though she vaguely recalled them trying to outdo one another on the shots stakes. She let a soft laugh out at her recollection of that memory, neither of them were going to live it down. As the hangover sunk in she tried to push her hair out of her face, without much success as her hand got stuck. There was something there tugging at a few loose strands, a ring?
Almost immediately she rolled out of bed and made her way into the bathroom to get a better look. Yeah, you couldn’t mistake the gold band wrapped around her finger, stuck in her hair. With a slightly shaky other hand she untangled it before padding back into the bedroom. Tentatively she climbed back onto the mattress and reached out for Roman, giving him a small shake. “Uhh, c’mon wake up!”
