What would happen if he was born a human with a normal family?

Well, I think he'd be more of a different person than he is now. If he was raised with the attention and love from both of his parents, he would continue to progress in the future as a normal kid. He would be a genius and get honor rolls... In college, a possible scholarship would be given to him. He will be a child worth having his parents proud.

The reason he turned the way he is was because of how he was raised. He was basically raised in neglect. His father is nowhere around and his mother mostly focused her attention on Shuu (which is in between her fault and not her fault; but that is another story). Studies do show that a child can gain abnormalities (in a psychological sense) when neglected. They may grow without empathy or become more aggressive. These kind of children somehow turn into Criminals or Serial Killers due to how they are raised as a child--so I feel, that's the reason how Reiji grew up as. That inferiority and neglect throughout his childhood turned him into someone he is now.

What other sorts of things do you think Reiji would wear?

Partly due to his inferiority complex, his clothing and appearance is also an important aspect to Reiji. As we all can tell, likes to wear anything that is considered professional. He cares also a lot about his looks so it would make him appear more above than other people (or even his siblings). 

One example is when, Yui actually thought of him as the eldest among the siblings when Shuu is actually the eldest. Or, his actions or form of speech sounds more mature than his immature little brothers (and shuu).

So yeah, Reiji would probably enjoy wearing suits, button down shirts (anything that you can probably wear in a professional employment). It doesn't matter if it's uncomfortable but--as long as his appearance can make an impression above others, that's all he wants.

Also, his clothes MUST be appropriate in a type of event. He won't wear a suit if he's going swimming of course or--If he has to hang out to do some shopping, he has to wear something casual (yet a little bit professional, close to a school uniform).

He raised an eyebrow at her. "Well, the cake certainly says, homemade." Reiji shrugged but blew out the candles without another word. "I'm not interested in singing any 'Happy Birthday'." He plucked off the candles and placed them aside, before cutting a small slice for himself. "Thank you once again, Maria."

"I would only sing it to you when you want me to," she chuckled  with a hint of sarcasm in her voice. Of course she won't sing that... It would be embarrassing. She could almost imagine the look he would give her the moment she starts singing.

But, his word of thanks is all that she needed throughout the event.

"I'm glad you are at least satisfied with everything today, Reiji-sama."

”Of course because mine is superior, perhaps next time I'll monitor you.” Reiji smirked and chuckled lowly. Then started to eat her food slowly. After he finished he inquired, ”Now what of the cake?”

"M-Monitor me!? I really wouldn't want to be a bother!" And having him around would actually make her more nervous than she is now. That would be bad and...She would definitely make more mistakes.

It would be embarrassing.

But it makes her happy knowing he thought of that.

"A-AH! The cake!" 

She turns back to the kitchen and returns with a small cake at hand. Of course, there is a picture of his face there but... It's personalized just for him. Her face fumed in red as soon as she presents the cake toward him.

The candles are already lit.

"H-Happy Birthday, Reiji!"

What perplexed is that she strived so hard for his approval. It couldn't be that he was moved? Pushing up his glasses, he replied cooly. ”I won't say yet. Now allow me to sample your cooking, Maria.” He approached, looking at her expectantly.

The sudden rush of nervousness arises. Reiji knows his Carbonara much better than a rookie such as herself. But, she wouldn't learn unless she hears it out from him.

With a curt nod, the young leads him to the nearest seat, "please take a seat and I'll be back in just a moment."

She then sped off the kitchen and returns with a plate of the desired Carbonara; topped it all off with a little bit of parmesan and baby spinach. Maria carefully places the plate right on front of him along with a fork neatly wrapped in a napkin.

"I-I hope you like it!"
