About the President!

I'm a nineteen-year-old political science student. I made this blog because I wanted to have a space to talk about my experiences. Opinions on reincarnations of.. controversial figures?

I have complicated feelings about this, so bear with me.

On one hand, people can't change their previous behavior, and will likely have the capacity to understand the consequences of their actions with the benefit of hindsight. However, I find the idea of someone openly proclaiming that they are a historical figure who caused a lot of harm to be distasteful. That one young man from TikTok--who I believe turned out to be suffering from a mental illness--comes to mind. If someone who caused massive amounts of harm happens to reincarnate and comes to view their past appropriately, I feel that the knowledge of what they did would be punishment enough. But I would not be inclined to trust them.
