The remains found in the Old Fox’s coffin will be reinterred in a new casket and returned to the crypt tomorrow. Sarah Fraser will lead a short service at 11am where a priest from St Marys Beauly will offer prayers for the dead. It will be attended by members of the Lovat Fraser family. Others with a special interest in the mausoleum are welcome to attend the service where the remains will be respectfully returned to the crypt in a casket prepared by Wm Fraser Funeral Directors in Inverness and kindly provided by Sarah Fraser. The dress code is respectful but not black tie.
