June - what is the best thing you’ve ever experienced?

Well i live a very boring life. But one f the things that made me extremely happy and very proud and kind of gave me a lot of hope was last summer, when i came back from holiday, i received a special letter. My university had asked me to join the Honours College because i was a “promising student”. And i went to the info day and i had to write a motivation letter but in the end i got chosen! So i’m one of the 12 honours college students of our faculty (pharmacy, biomedical science, veterinary medicine and biochemistry. a total of about 500 students). And yeah, it kinda changed my life and have more confidence in myself

16 - would you rather be anorexic or obese?

It’s not a very healthy question, since both can lead to a lot of other complications. But i’d say obese. Why obese? Well someone with obesity isn’t necessary unhealthy. I know the risk of getting cardiovascular disease will be bigger, but still, you’re pretty “healthy”. But Anorexia is a whole other problem. i don’t think you can compare them both, since one is only physical, while the other is psychological and physical. Having anorexia is very dangerous and puts your body at an immediate risk. And of course let’s not forget the psychological toll it has. And even worse, 10% of anorexia patients (mostly teenage girls) die. They starve themselves out, while the family can’t do anything. it’s horrible and most people are so ignorant they think becoming anorexic might be a good thing.

#sorry i had to vent #and i'm not telling lies but what i was teached at my psychiatry class #we watched videos of patients and we had to analyse them and listen to their story and it was really sad #reizuo #birthday
