Whom do we follow: Christ or the world? Now what does Christ want: the soul or the flesh? The truth is that He wants us to be in Him, and to reject the sinful nature which we inherited. Now why would God allow such thing upon us, if He didn't want it? The truth is, that He warned man not to disobey Him, or He'll bring death upon himself - spoiler alert, man disobeyed anyway. And because of that, we're now like that. So what do we do? We focus on the Lord, and not on this world. Only one of the two can save man from sin, and it isn't the world. Let us repent of fleshly sin (pride, sensuality, unnatural relation, indulgence), and turn to the real Lord Jesus, Who is the only One Who can change a person for the better according to His own Will. There's nothing for us to gain here in this world, but there is outside of it, so let's go heavenward. God bless you in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour! Amen.
