Ooo how about Pariston dealing with rejection HC!
Well… this is a hard one to answer to some extent (because isn’t this just how he deals with Ging?)
I feel that this would go one of two ways:
Disinterested outcome
If he only had minor interest in someone to start with, and he never felt like he got much of a reaction out of you, he’d just drop the entire thing pretty quickly.
From time to time he’d still try to tease and see if he could get a reaction- testing the waters as it were- but with enough time he’d just move on to someone else. Pariston does things because he likes seeing the reactions. OR! Because it is a challenge.
2. Seeing the rejection as a challenge
Although Ging gives Pariston little reaction in general, he still does from time to time. Or at least partakes in the banter. Which feeds Pariston. So Pariston would aim to get you to do that same thing. Finally reply to him so that he can have the satisfaction of your attention, even if it is brief.
Gradually he would up the game so he could get more reactions or more emotional ones at least. This could range from inconveniencing you to the point you break up to being sure you are around when he is doing things that he knows you will find are wrong.
If for some reason you absolutely cannot be bent to giving him attention he would move on. At first hoping that would cause you to follow him (ex: he’s giving up? Can’t be... He’s up to something. I better make sure.) but after a while he will find a new person to give him the attention he craves.
