So not finished with Dawntrail MSQ, but some conversations have me thinking about all the threats we've faced and thwarted, the threats other heroes like Gulool Ja Ja and his crew dealt with, and heroes past through the ages of the world...and how amazing it is that Hydaelyn and her champions failed to stop Rejoinings only 7 times over 12-13 thousand years of reincarnations versus the Unsundered's machinations and the longevity of the other Ascians.
How many others did those past/other heroes thwart? How many other surviving reflections are in a state of imbalanced muckery like the First? Not quite "lost" to their element as the Thirteenth was, but left in a state of chaos and elemental rage, as conditions on the Source didn't reach the climax necessary to trigger a Calamity and thus a full Rejoining?
How many ancient threats has WoL faced, that heroes of ages past mitigated or locked away or otherwise kicked down the road until we were able to face them in dungeons, trials, raids...
"Some of the civilizations in the reflections may surprise you," the tired man said. Knowing what they did to the reflections that we have seen, not to mention the Source...what are the lingering consequences in the surviving shards, who were manipulated by those ancient beings to fail and fall to their elements?
