Okay folks, I have a multi-stage question and I’ve tried googling it but! Google is significantly worse at producing useful results now than it was when I was growing up and honing my google fu, so it didn’t help at all.
Is there a technical term for the specific variety of relationship between a nonbinary person and a binary-trans person?
If yes, what is it? Asking for me (and the boyfriend)
My instinct is to say it’s some modified flavor of hetero because of the differing genders of the participants, but not straight as that has the distinct flavor of cisness to my ear. But I am uncertain. Perhaps I am creating excessive granularity in my quest for precision.
The relationship in question is romantic, but not sexual, though I imagine that there are folks out there that are sexually-inclined who also could use a word for this experience.
Please remember as you read this that I am an early millennial raised in a rural area and I am not asking from a place of malice. I legit enjoy learning stuff and gaining information, but sometimes I do not have the background experience to know where to look for the knowledge I want to acquire, and I know a great many words but not quite enough of them, sometimes.
