Lemaitre (Megapost)
Lemaitre is a Norwegian indie electronic band formed by Ketil Jansen and Ulrik Denizou Lund in 2010.
In an interview, Lund and Jansen stated that their band is named after Georges Lemaître, a Belgian priest who proposed the Big Bang theory.
The group’s third EP, Relativity 2, reached #1 in Canadian and US charts for iTunes’ electronic albums in May 2012, while also reaching #3 in Switzerland, #8 in Australia, and #10 in France. Worldwide, the EP reached #4 in iTunes’ Pop category.
In January 2014, the duo signed to Astralwerks Records home to Porter Robinson, Deadmaus, Empire of The Sun and many others.
