Hello Everyone, Ken the Karmi here! I just wanted to say thank you to everyone of you for all the positive feedback! This really helps me stay motivated to send positive deep-rooted wisdom each week! This week is all about sitting with what is, not trying to control everything around you and just being present. It's one thing to say it, but to live it is another, and in my opinion not the easiest thing to do. Thich Nhat Hanh once said, "Sit just to enjoy your sitting, you don't need to attain any goal". So many of us, including myself, are so busy in our daily lives that it really takes a moment to realize that we hardly ever sit still. To be present and relax with what is. If you do, it feels almost foreign because we feel like we should be doing something, being productive, executing. Well this week, I encourage you to sit, just to sit. Sit and feel what its like to be present, while not accomplishing anything but to be present. Allow thoughts to come and go, and just be. Try that a few times a week and see how much better and relaxed you feel. After taking Lisa's class, we were pretty much exhausted, which instills the power of yoga. We didn't have any energy left, which created an incredible feeling of relaxation and grounding. So, as depicted, we just sat and remained present, happy and fulfilled. A profound experience, yet so simple. What are your tips on staying present and relaxed during your everyday lives and how it affects you and everyone around you? #EvolutionPowerYoga #CommunityPowered #RelaxWithWhatIs #thankfulthursday #neverstopexploring #yogaeverydamnday #vinyasaflow #yogagram #kennethhaultonphotography #canon6d #expandyourmind (at Evolution Power Yoga) https://www.instagram.com/p/BtlSUSwAQDf/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=14poq3ie3uxhn
