it wasn’t a cliched rom com jealousy - this girl has quite literally been through hell and back, isolated from her friends, from mike, unable to speak to anyone except hopper who can’t be there 24/7

she has no one and she’s hurting and emotional

when she sees mike smiling at max it isn’t a “that’s MY boyfriend” type jealousy and it’s not a “I like him back off” jealousy if you even want to call it jealousy at all
