Release #6: To The One I Thought I Was Through With (pt. 2)

Dear you, 

Am I really through with you? During the time I first laid my eyes on you, I saw you often around campus. I saw you and I saw you until another period of time went by and I didn’t. I didn’t see you. Not even once. For a whole 3 months. You suddenly went MIA in the same organization we belong in and left no trace of your existence (in my life at the least). I decided to stop right there and then since my feelings were pretty shallow anyway and also because I found someone who can temporarily make my heart skip a beat while you weren’t around. I forgot you. I honestly did. But you suddenly started to reappear. In front of the elevator line, inside the elevator, sitting on the bench, sitting on the couch, at the back of the elevator line, going to the same place as to where I am going, outside the place where I live, etc. All of a sudden, you’re everywhere. I know it isn’t your fault or it’s probably mine for always noticing but how can I not? I don’t want to overthink and overanalyze things but seeing you around all the time makes me sick. It’s not even “sick” in a negative way. It makes me feel sick because everytime I see you, it serves as a reminder for me that we were never on any level—not even friends. You cannot even look at me straight in the eyes, for God’s sake. Ano ba problema? I wish I could ask you for real but of course there’s no way it’s gonna happen. Curioisity is fucking killing me. The silence between us comes in second. I just really wish that I’m not actually wasting my time thinking about you all the time. All I ever wanted to be was your friend, confidante. If I get the chance and guts to make a move one of these days, please give us a chance. This a chance. With this, I think that the very short poem I made last May was meant for you after all:

“I wish I knew I wish I did The path to where Your sorrows hid”

New York Motor Show Models Previewed

Therewith the 2014 New York Motor Show put in for begin this month and the Beijing Motor Four-flushing (Muffler China) to begin nearer the extremity in respect to the month, very many manufacturers are revealing teaser images of their latest concepts and models. This week sees Kia reveal a semester teaser feigned belief of their new Sedona bunny and Toyota releasing a new Scion before their debuts at the New York Show.<\p>

Release#2: A Letter To The Almost Guy Friend

Dear you,

Hello! This feels so weird since it feels like I’m gonna send this to you, but I’m laughing at myself cause I obviously won’t. First of all, I’d like to thank you. It all started with the day (September 14, 2015, if I am not mistaken) that you called out my name and addressed yourself as having a “sad life” since you had no one to go with on the way to the train station. The walk from our classroom all the way to the train station were purely about your college life so far. Since then, I’ve been genuinely interested in your life—the burning feeling inside of me that wants to get to know you better. It happened the next day again then never again. Honestly, a part of me hoped that it would then be a routine but of course the joke’s on me for hoping that. It saddened me but grateful that a bigger part of myself didn’t hope and knew that it wouldn’t go any deeper. I just want to say thank you for trusting me. It kinda feels weird that out of all the people in the block, I’d be one of the people you’d rely on THAT particular story or issue you’re dealing with. It feels good to be trusted. We’d never get the chance to talk to each other alone maybe because we’re both in different set of barkadas or maybe because we don’t have anything to talk about at all. The only chance where we can talk to, though, is during one subject (which we both totally loathe because of the teacher) which we’re seatmates in. I’m glad. I’m glad that our names are right next to each other. I’m almost deep into this letter, but please don’t get me wrong. I’m not here to confess anything or probably the usual thing you get. I’m writing this letter because I just want to tell you how genuinely glad I am of your existence. I can say that even though I’ve only known you for a short period of time because it feels really light when I talk to you, that maybe since that day I just say I’ll trust you even just from afar. That maybe one day, if the world gives us a chance to be more closer than we are now, we both grab the chance and make a friendship really worth making. Maybe one day. But for now, I’ll be grateful for the nods along the hallway, awkward eye contact and the non-stop questions about school work.

Release Series

I have always wanted to make a series of posts wherein I write letters that are never meant to be sent, but were meant to be said. It’s a form of saving myself from my thoughts, from drowning in regret and guilt—that I didn’t say anything to the person addressed in the specific post. It sounds selfish, I know. Selfish in a sense that the only thing that I seem to be looking after are my feelings but no. I know I’m also being selfish since the things I should have said and the things the person addressed to should have heard never got a chance to say and hear those words, respectively. 

Let me call this series of letters to whomever it is addressed to, Release.
