“During this year of confinement with limited access to public spaces, going to flea markets, garage sales, second hand stores or even combing through my friends’ and family’s discarded treasures in their own storage spaces has become extremely difficult and left me empty handed. I started to realize that everything I needed was right in front of me; in my own studio, I found heaps of “everything but the kitchen sink” stuff to use to be able to create some small pieces to keep my creativity flowing. This new, limited, one of a kind, small mixed media frame series called “Everything But The Kitchen Sink” was born using only recycled materials found in my studio. “My goal was to create humorous, light hearted 2D artworks using only what was at hand in the studio to show how we, as artists, given any situation, can be resourceful with what we have when in need to create art and keep our sanity, mental health and well being #smallworks2020 #everythingbutthekitchensink #releasedate #releasedatecomingsoon https://www.instagram.com/p/CIoPpESgk3R/?igshid=85tvpdx21wb4
