//Not everyone responds to trauma by becoming a compassionate saint and while those are the people I as a mun admire most, and the people that I as a mun try most to emulate, I feel like people need to remember that it’s also okay if you turn out scared, and angry, and ugly, and maladapted, after trauma. As long as you are trying to work through it, trying to heal, don’t let people shit on you for your journey. Trust your journey. Your response to trauma is valid too. Just keep working on it, and trying to remember that your actions still have consequences.

Free Tarot Readings
Okay, can I add to the discourse here? I see these requests asking for eye readings, tarot readings, aura readings, and more and I really want to address this as a tarot and rune reader.
No. I'm not saying this to be mean, it's that it is a professional skill, just like a lawyer or doctor or a masseuse. It is a skill that I have spent some time learning, studying in depth, practicing in a lot of places and spending a lot of money on to get the tools. Asking for a reading like this is akin to walking up to someone you know is a dentist at a party and wanting them to whip out the tools of their trade and extract a tooth for you.
I do readings for others. I trade readings all the time with other pagans. But the idea here is TRADE. I get something they can do, or they have, and I exercise my skill. That's a fair exchange of energies for knowing the answers you seek.
If you want a free reading on ANY question you have, learn to do this yourself. Reading someone else (be it tarot, aura, eyes, emotions, or whatever) takes energy from me. That's energy I have to replace with food and sleep. It also causes me to have to do some cleansing of my own, and in some cases a religious ritual as well, all of which comes from my pocket. This is why I usually charge a MINIMUM of a dollar a minute for a reading, and the more involved ones get even more expensive.
So, not trying to hurt, just explain the realities. Most good readers ask to get compensated some how, and if you have that great a need of a reading, offer something you can do as a trade.
About 'Internet Friends' and opening up
The nice thing about internet friends is that I don't really 'know' you - I don't know your family or friends or anything.
I'm an anonymous sympathetic ear to listen to your pain - an invisible shoulder to cry on. And I'm happy to be here for you in that regard. I don't know anyone close to you and thus can't hold judgement or make you feel guilty for being angry or sad with them. I can't stab you in the back or inadvertently spill your secret to them.
That goes for all my 'internet friends'. You mean something to me. Even though we haven't physically met, you're still important to me.
