I have never been religious. Nor do I believe in God, at least not in any version of a god found in conventional religions. Yet I have always been drawn to religious iconography and statuary. I collect a wide variety of kitsch and I categorize my religious artifacts as such. However, some of the pieces in my collection have an aura of sorts. Do those of you who also collect this sort of thing, yet don’t consider yourself religious, feel like any of the objects in your collection have (for lack of a better term) an energy attached to them?
