you should not feel like you have to apologize. give yourself time to process everything and feel grief, even if it puts things you used to enjoy on hold. it sounds like you are having an incredibly difficult time. i know i am just a stranger on the internet, but i will keep you in my heart and my thoughts. i can’t say i know how you feel, cause i’m not you, but i have experienced similar things and it took me a while to become myself again. please take care of yourself and take your time !
This is such a thoughtful and considerate response. Thank you so much. I’ve been in a bad place for a few years now but my ex really caused a great deal of my current mental state. A lot of grief, suicidal ideation, and regret. Many of the art forms I have spent time in and curated were shared with people who either hurt me beyond disbelief or are no longer with us. I want to get my spark back. I’ve been prioritizing myself and my self betterment for the time being.
