Maybe Remus isn't Just Bad Creativity
Warnings: Internalized homophobia, Religion and religious morality mentions, Pat can be interpreted as unsympathetic tho it's more unsympathetic Catholic Church (Sorry I'm projecting)
In order to torture Remus, Character! Thomas must suffer as well.
Hear me out: 12 year old Remus having thoughts 30 year old Roman wouldn't bat an eyelash at!!
Remus is creativity that Thomas' morality (Patton) is against or uncomfortable with, so in different stages of acceptance and development different things are and aren't okay with Patton. So during the "girl phase"...
Remus creating princes to sweep Thomas off his feet, imagining dates under the moonlight and walks in the park. Things get a little yucky cause he's a teenage boy but primarily he looks at giys in Thomas' class and imagines a happily ever after-
- and Patton can't allow Thomas to look those boys in the eye. Virgil starts acting out. Roman can't believe his ears! Thomas?? With a boy???? HE CAN'T!!!!
It takes years (and a little push from Logan) to calm them down. This is where Logan and Remus getting along can show.
Eventually, Roman's gaze turns to guys as well. As Roman gets more romantic, Remus gets more risque and possessive. But for that good while, all Remus wanted was to hold a boy's hand.
"If the only thing keeping you from being a horrible person is your religion, you are already a horrible person."
You're not "good," you're just obedient.
How is it that you have never figured out the best way not to be hurt by others is to not hurt others yourself? Even chimps figured that out.
Atheists like you should be gassed. Hopefully Trump goes far enough to make that legally while I disagree with Nazis on many things getting rid of scum is a good idea
Wow, that must be all that love and morality we hear religion imbues followers with.
The fact you feel totally comfortable and believe yourself to be on the higher moral ground shows how poisonous religion is.
Ladies and gentlemen, gather around and look at it. Look closely at it. This is religion. This is what it does to you. Pity it, laugh at it, remember it, take it as a cautionary tale. #ReligionNotEvenOnce
But most importantly, make no mistake that this is what is out there, what we have to contend with. And remember it when you ask yourself whether it matters if we oppose this poisonous superstitious drivel. Because this is what they promise. And when people tell you who they are, you should believe them.
What's interesting though is that you've been in my inbox before, and I both mocked and blocked you. Yet here you are stalking me again. You clearly have an obsession with me, perhaps even all atheists.
"Whenever I hear some bigmouth in Washington or the Christian heartland banging on about the evils of sodomy or whatever, I mentally enter his name in my notebook and contentedly set my watch. Sooner rather than later, he will be discovered down on his weary and well-worn old knees in some dreary motel or latrine, with an expired Visa card, having tried to pay well over the odds to be peed upon by some Apache transvestite." -- Christopher Hitchens
Sounds more like you're a self-hating closet atheist. It's only a matter of time.
And people ask me why I say that religion is a mental illness. 🤷♂️🤷♀️
P.S. Reported for making direct threats.
"Some of the most terrible things in the world are done by people who think, genuinely think, that they are doing it for the best, especially if there is some god involved." -- Terry Pratchett
"Being religious does not make you a good person by default. This notion is why so many rotten people hide behind their religion."
"The most disturbing thing about the idea of hell is how Christians desperately want it to be real."
They're positively giddy about threatening you with eternal torture.
"I think I can honestly say that I haven't met one person that isn't morally superior to the Christian God." -- Jared Crowell
