The Deities - Part Three
I am anxious to impart what I know about our gods to you all. This is the final part of The Deities- After this, their names will, piece by piece, be known.
When I release these names- Reveal these associations, describe these feelings and colors, these wonderful gods, you may feel something stir within you. A calling towards a particular name or association, a particular epithet. Some of these names or descriptions may seem familiar to you, like home.
If you see a deity, or perhaps two, and you resonate with them deeply, I implore you to consider taking them as a patron or matron.
When you take a god as your patron, they adopt you; Not as a child, per se, but they simply take on responsibility towards you, in a higher sense. Their energy, those specific energy frequencies, attach themselves to your core, and any location, environment or dimension specific frequencies attach to your aura.
Essentially, you become intertwined with the deity, and their ward. As a devotee you carry this deity's energy as if you were an object of direct association, because you are.
Associating with a specific deity enhances your performance and resonation with the frequencies this deity holds power over. Suddenly, associating with, say, the goddess of plants, feels much like connection to all plants, and like sisterhood with the greenery around you. Like gods associated with arts seem to have it woven into their energy, you may now find you sense the same within you.
To take a god as your patron, don't be shy. Reach out, implore them for their companionship.
Don't overthink it. Assume sooner that they have accepted you before anything else. This religion is accepting, and the gods are incomprehensibly forgiving and welcoming.
Once you request a god's patronship, proceed under the assumption that you are theirs now. Make a shrine, give offerings, perform devotional rituals in their name. See the way they interact with everything around you. Remember their values, and remember their unending support of you. They don't require anything except for your trust and respect.
Remember, if you have a question, feel free to send me a message or ask.
Until next time.
