canon event for folk suspecting they may be intersex is searching for illustrations of their trait/variation on Google Images just to get bombarded with sexually exploitive images of infants and children because ""It's Not Supposed To Look Like That!!!"
CSAM is bad!!! oh but excluding if the victim is intersex. that's okay. for. Educational Purposes!! Yeah! the part where we go "Parents? You see your kids' genitals? yeah- that? does it look like this? Yeah It's wrong!!! It may not cause them any medical issues or does it negatively effect them in any capacity but- yeah it's Wrong!!! This is Educational BTWl!!"
jesus fucking christ I don't want to see an infant getting medically violated. I don't want to see multiple shots and angles of their genitalia being stretched by medical tools. I don't want to see multiple Before And After shots and angles of their genitalia being "corrected". I don't want to see multiple images of the "Absence Of A Clitoris In A 13-Year-Old Female Adolescent".
this is intersexism and child exploitation.
every time I talk to my girlfriend about my variations she googles them automatically and gets jumpscared. it should be fucking illegal. trans kids can't read books with trans main characters but any sicko can go on GOOGLE IMAGES and see uncensored infant genitalia? it's terrifying. I feel awful for all of the children that have their genitalia permanently on the internet, showcasing their mutilation.

Adultism is the fact that for a lot of kids in the USA (i speak from a USAmerican perspective, this problem likely exists elsewhere) the only option to get out of their abusive homes is to join the military, not a day out of high school and we ship these kids off to wherever to murder innocents and they come home in a box. because the government cant bare to spend a dollar to help children survive when there's oil to be stolen and resorts on stolen ground to be built.
This is adultism and child exploitation.
I was SAd at 8 years old and I wanna put it out there that victims of CSA aren’t on your side when you tell depressed people “you’re so privileged! There are kids getting SAd out there!”.
YOU’RE the “privileged” one. If you were actually someone who got off your ass and thought about people “less lucky” than you, you’d understand that safety was never a privilege, it was our human right.
We DESERVED safety. We DESERVED to not get raped or molested or groomed. You don’t get to celebrate being the “lucky” 3 in 4 girls or 5 in 6 boys that didn’t have their childhoods frickin ruined by a predator. Your safety isn’t a shiny toy you should feel lucky to have. Saying that kids are lucky not to get SAd is part what keeps the numbers 1 in 4 or 6 instead of 1 in 1 gazillion.
It is so fucking creepy how brainwashed everyone is into accepting child abuse under the assumption that it is "in the child's best interest" and supposedly preventing "actual abuse".
Queer advocates and like generally leftists have usually no problem understanding that indeed the law is often not made in the interest of people, but rather as a way to oppress them. Like, people have no problem understanding that a lot of laws that somehow take bodily autonomy from people are actually harmful.
Until you talk about the bodily autonomy of children. A child wants to make a medical decision? That suddenly is bad. And what if they decide wrong? What if the child does make a decision that has bad outcomes for them, what then?
But somehow the same people are not asking about the bad outcomes from decisions parents make. Which, indeed, do happen a fucking lot. Again: anti-vaxx parents are very fucking widespread these days.
Newsflash: people make bad decisions. Surprising. I know.
That does not mean they should not get to make them.
There is adults who decide for or against medical treatments based on wrong medical information every day. And we fucking let them.
It is so fucking creepy how many people do clearly not consider children to be people but things or animals. Children are people. Minors are people.
How is it, that you are okay with treating a group of humans as non-people? How is it that y'all can understand that treating women, or queer people, or disabled people, or Black people as non-people is bad, but as soon as it is about kids you will go into robot mode and go: "But what if the child makes a bad decision." Like, I don't know Janet. What if 48yo John makes a bad decision? What then?
And like, every thing people bring up, is like a thing that happens to adults too. "What if a kid gets tricked into something exploitative?" Well, how about we just ban exploitation, Janet? Sounds like a better idea than stopping a whole group of people from being people (which, mind you, currently and historically has lead to a bunch of exploitation - like, kidfluencers are exploited by both their guardians and the social media platforms they are on).
I am very satisfied that Miss Huang is literally just A Normal Child who's being exploited. The theories about her being Mark's daughter never made sense to me, I wasn't a big fan of robot or clone for varying reasons. I have been banking all season that she's literally just doing an internship, and would you look at that?? Lumon employs children all the time, they have no qualms sticking 8 year olds in front of chemical vats for ten hours. Of course they'll put a kid on the severed floor, it'll probably deter attacks anyway. Probably.
And what if I told you this happens all the time IRL? When I was a freshman in highschool we had local companies offering various unpaid 'internship' and 'apprenticeship' programs that usually boiled down to being coffee runners or cleaning their offices. The local middle school had a summer job fair where the majority of the 'positions' being offered were volunteer work (therefore unpaid), but the adults would coo and crow about how it was 'giving us work experience' and would look good on college applications or could help us get recommendations for certain jobs or schools in the future. And a lot of kids jumped at these opportunities because they sounded like great ways to get ahead, but they usually ended up just doing unpaid labor with very little appreciation.
I do truly love when the simplest explanation turns out to be the correct one. She's just a kid, kids work all the time even in corporate settings, they just usually don't get paid for it with anything besides 'experience'. Because a kid on the payroll looks bad, but a kid 'doing an apprenticeship' looks like a great way to help them learn responsibility. When it's really just a way to broaden the scope of who you can exploit.
The operation prioritized suspects with the largest child pornography collections and some of the most graphic sexual abuse content, ALERT s
Seven men have been arrested and charged in Alberta after investigators uncovered vast collections of child pornography.
The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) unit made the arrests between June and August in Calgary, Lethbridge and Red Deer.
ALERT said the unit launched Operation ICE Storm in June and focused on high-level targets that were sharing and distributing vast collections of child sexual exploitation materials via peer-to-peer file sharing networks.
